Henry Story

CTO & Founder, co-operating.systems

Henry comes from a deeply international family with UK and Austrian ancestry, was brought up in France, studied philosophy and computing in London, worked at AltaVista on the BabelFish machine translation engine in California, then researched distributed social networks and security at Sun Microsystems, participated in a number of IETF & W3C standards, and has since been working on what is now known as the Social Linked Data project started by Tim Berners Lee at MIT. He founded co-operating.systems as an open source social enterprise to build an open source/open standards platform to help just in time co-operation among organisations. This is also the topic of his PhD thesis, which he is pursuing at Southampton’s under Dame Wendy Hall.
