Inclusivity in Cooperation

300a

Ellie Tiglao, Brendon, Caitlin Nisos

This session combines the following open space proposals:

  1. Inclusivity in Cooperation: how do we prioritize the involvement and leadership of marginalized communities in the creation and service of platform cooperativism?
  2. How to include/engage marginalized communities in this movement. Poverty presents huge barriers – education, information, language, corruption, political persecution, resources. What tools / practices / models can be accessible to these communities?
  3. A session to draw together themes of integrating marginalised communities/combating tech inequalities with an eye to diversifying and democratising the co-op user base, and how to engage community networks/organising groups to amplify impact.
